"Oh goody!" You're probably saying in your head right now. More listicles! Exactly what the world needs! I can't really argue with that, but this is an internet blog. Gotta have them listicles!
Yeah. You probably don't need to do this but why the heck not? Reddit can be a weird place, so you might want to do your part in cleaning it up and adding some fun sides to it. It can literally be about anything. Now, if I were to be completely honest with you, I'd say Reddit is just a place where people contradict your opinions. But hey, no contradicting could be a rule in your SubReddit! I guess? Whatever, the point is basically: have fun with it.
There are lots of places where you can learn something new, and I'm not talking about those sketchy online colleges. You can learn a lot of things from the following websites:
I put question marks on the last one because I haven't actually tried it. I mostly put it there so one of you out there might actually try it out. But the rest is completely WillWam approved. You can learn a lot on Udemy if you pay ten bucks per course (the courses are generally two hundred dollars, but every time I visit that website there's a discount). Some courses are also free. You can also become an instructor if you know some things. Also, I think we can agree they called it Udemy because it looked similar to Udummy. Oh well. Let's move on.
Instructables is a bit more interesting. On Instructables, you can share your projects for free (without actually charging anyone), and they are rated by the community. On Instructables, you can learn to cook, make a robot, or even a website.
To me, writing has always cured me of boredom. I'm not exactly sure if you share the same views as me there, but even if you don't, I strongly encourage you to write a story. Who knows? You may even publish it someday (watch out for scams. No, you don't have to pay anything to publish a book. Publishers just take a portion of your earnings).
To be completely honest with you, I only got on Quora because the site made me when I wanted to view an answered question, but when I started looking at unanswered questions, I started sharing what little expertise I had about their (mostly coding-related) topic. It's also just nice way to see what people are wondering about.
I know what you're thinking. I don't know anything about this! WAAAAAHHHH! I get it. You're an overdramatic person that underestimates yourself. Here's what I want you to do right now. To make a little web page, I simply want you to copy the below text:
<h1>This is a big header</h1>
<p>This is a paragraph</p>
Now I want you to open this page and paste the code where it says HTML, like so:
Then click the 'run' button in the top left corner:
Voila. Your very first web page. If you enjoyed that there is much more you can do with it. So look up some classes on Udemy.
Seriously, if you've ever watched YouTube all that much, you actually need to limit your time on it to an hour or less. YouTube is a messed up place right now. I shouldn't have to explain further. I spend less time on YouTube mostly because Jake Paul is still thriving on the platform.
I predict that in 2019-2020 he's getting more hate then he is now.
And if you don't know who Jake Paul is, don't even ask.
I've never really gone as in-depth as this when it comes to my mail list, but you should really take the time right now (or after you read this whole dang thing) to just enter in your email right here, because I'm planning to enter all my subscribers in an awesome giveaway at the end of the Summer. I'll occasionally send you some posts from the blog that you might like, but your inbox won't get flooded!
Don't worry, your email is safe and secure.
Google has a huge variety of products including YouTube (2018 people don't think about it). Just check them out, and it might just entertain you for an hour.
If you're a content creator, or you do work for the interwebs in some way, you should start a Patreon page. Patreon allows creators to make a little money for their great works! Speaking of Patreon, you can check out my little page here! Like every blogger says: a dollar a month keeps the... eh, nevermind.
Thanks for reading this post. If I get one (yes, one) patron, I will create a post that contains every single emoji from emojipedia.org, but it will all be in a regular post. Lame promise, but I'll do it.
No more bad layouts and mobile design
Oh goody! More useless listicles!
